SOMETHING MORE THAN MUSIC
The sonokids program has been designed by a multidisciplinary team composed of early stage educators, musicians, communicators and linguists, in order to cover all the needs of the student and obtain a richer result in terms of knowledge acquisition.
For us the linguistic aspect is fundamental in the development of a musician, because when music and linguistics are connected by the sense of hearing (we hear words, we listen to songs, we listen to melodies without lyrics, we hear noises, we are always listening), our brain learns to decode sounds and reproduce them as long as they are stimulated correctly to perform the process.

Aimed at children under 3 years of age with parents committed to their children's early music training, this Family Workshop of MUSICAL STIMULATION develops the pre-skills that children from 18 to 36 months require for an optimal performance in the subsequent learning of the musical theory and the performance of an instrument.
One hour long, family sessions become fun spaces where through games, songs, dances and instruments parents, grandparents, uncles, brothers or nannies support and learn with the children concepts such as rhythm, melody, ear tuning and musical reading together, in a magical and unparalleled sensory - musical integration.
The main goal of our MUSICAL INITIATION Program at Sono Kids is to get our students to have fun while they learn and discover how music is made. The rhythm, melody, harmony and the musical theory are geared in our experimental workshop in such a way that at the end of the last level of the course our little apprentices have a clear definition of their musical inclination; as well as an important knowledge in the performance of percussion and melodic instruments and singing.
Studying at Sono Arte means losing, or better yet, not developing the fear of reading, solfege and theory that overwhelms the beginning of any musician, anywhere in the world.
This stimulation, carried out systematically in our Workshop while our students have fun, develops a refined musical ear in our students and educates their brain to identify sounds and pronunciation from other languages. Result ?: Our students strengthen their ability to recognize phonemes of languages that until now are unknown and acquire the ability to understand and reproduce them faithfully.

The objective of the MUSICAL TRANSITION workshop is to create a bridge that allows to soften the student's transition between the musical initiation and the formal disciplines, which have different dynamics.
This introductory course allows, once obtained the basic knowledge of rhythmic and melodic reading, to develop the musical, motor coordination and theoretical skills necessary for the successful learning of the performance of a concrete instrument.
It is aimed for children between 5 and 7 years old and those who have completed the program of the Musical Initiation Workshop.
